Catherine Moore, LCSW was born and raised in California. She has always had a love for people so her career into social work was a natural transition. After being in social work for a few years she began to see the effects that burn out and a lack of authentic connection was having on the social work field.
She saw that social workers are the most powerful and underutilized group of advocates we have in the world.
She began to dream and plan for a social work industry where mental health providers are valued, have balance in their life, and are able to get creative in ways they solve problems of the world.
In January 2020 she decided to take action by starting the Social Workers, Rise! podcast.
Since then she has created a community for social workers and other mental health professionals to RISE through the creation of relationships and sharing of specialized knowledge it takes to be successful as a Social Worker.
We will talk everything social work, on every level from micro to macro. We will hear the stories of social workers who are doing big things, learn new skills, and most importantly, give you actionable steps to change more lives than you ever thought possible.
